Planning Your Trek
The following information will allow you to prepare and plan for your Kokoda Adventure
The following items are included in the price of your trek with Adventure Kokoda:
- Public Liability Insurance Protection
- Experienced Australian Trek Leader (guided treks)
- Experienced PNG Kioari Trek Leader(self-guided treks)
- Airfare from Port Moresby to Kokoda
- Trek permit and village access fees
- Village guesthouse/tented accommodation along the Track
- Airport/accommodation transfers
- Bus/4 WD transfer from end of trek back to your hotel.
- Detailed Kokoda Trek Diary Notes prepared by Charlie Lynn
- Personal backpack
- Sleeping bag
- Sleeping mat
- 2-Man mosquito proof tent (per person)
- Group camping/trek equipment
- Adventure Kokoda shirt
- Adventure Kokoda certificate
- Accommodation on a twin share basis at a 4-star hotel in Port Moresby*
- Breakfast and dinner at your hotel in Port Moresby
You need to provide:
- Your own passport
- A visa for entry into PNG
- Personal Travel Insurance
- Medical Certificate
- Sleeping bag liner
- Eating utensils
- Water hydration pack/water bottles
- Trek snacks
- Anti-malarial medication
- Personal First Aid items
